Forum Rules

Having a thriving and fun place to gather and talk with others is a very precious thing. In order to make that happen, we have put a few boundaries in place.

First and foremost, please note it really not is our goal to control the conversation or overmoderate, in fact we would be much happier if it was not necessary at all.

With registering to this forum, you accept these forum rules and the Code of Conduct. Any breach of the forum rules may result in a temporary or permanent forum ban. The forum staff reserves the right to modify or update these rules if needed.

In this thread you will find all rules regarding:

Warnings and bans are to the discretion of the forum staff.

Remember that we will never ask you for your password!

Forum Accounts

The owner of the forum account is the owner of the email to which the account belongs to.
Make sure you do not lose access to that email!

Furthermore the following applies:

  • One forum account per natural person (no multi accounting)
  • natural person per forum account (no account sharing)
  • owner is responsible for all content posted by the forum account he/she owns

Content is defined as everything that is publically accessible. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Usernames, signatures, user profiles
  • Posts, external links (Youtube videos for example), embedded pictures

All content should be acceptable for all ages, therefor forbidding (and not limited to):

  • Pornographic content
  • Inappropriate language
  • Immoral content

All content should be permissable by law, therefor forbidding (and not limited to):

  • Copyright infringement
  • Pirating, torrents, hacks and warez
  • Criminal activity harming others

Please be aware that using ASCII, 1337speak or any form of alternate spelling to circumvent the profanity filter is also not accepted.

Private Messages

Private messages are not monitored by forum staff. If you receive unwanted private messages, please report them with the report function.

Posting private messages without the express consent of the other parties is not allowed.

Please keep our Code of Conduct in mind when posting. In order to have a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere on the forum, the following intentional behaviour will not be tolerated:

  • Hostile or insulting behaviour towards others (flaming)
  • Baiting others towards hostile or insulting behaviour (trolling)
  • Spreading unwanted content repeatedly or for the purpose of getting the postcounter up (spamming)
  • Spreading unwanted commercial content for personal gain (advertising)

All forum staff or official representatives of Digital Reality can be recognized by the colour of their username in posts.

Posing as forum staff or official representatives of Digital Reality is not allowed under any circumstances.

We will never ask you for your password, keep it a secret!
