No Micro-Transactions

Just putting it out there.... most people dont like this line of business, some good DLCs are okay, but having a ton of micro-transactions in a game is generally thought more of an annoyance then anything that actually add's to the game experience. So many companies do this, and though I can totally understand why "some" do follow this way, especially when games are free-to-play, but most of the time day-one DLCs is just taking away something that should have been in the game in the first place for everyone to experience, and other companies just use this business model as a cash cow, the game doesn't need them, and the game developer doesn't need it, but its their games anyway because they can make a lot of money from it... So please dont go down this road...

Do a Single player game as a lot of company, 69€ or $ to buy the game!

Re: No Micro-Transactions

DLC is a bit different from the free to play model imho. DLC locks away content that can only be reached by paying extra, after the game is released (or before... in some cases). Free to play model builds on the concept that time = money, so all content is reachable for all players, but you can shorten the time it takes to get there. Addition to that is character customization and other pretty things that have no real function in the game except making you look awesome ;)

Free to play has been getting a bad rep, especially with all the games that claim to be f2p but are actually pay2win. In our case, we definitely do NOT want to go the pay2win route, and keep the game open for all.

Re: No Micro-Transactions

Is there anyway you can shed some light on the micro's about what exactly is going to be available for purchase? like, different coloured schemes? im guessing you not going to be putting up weapons or new ship designs coz of the pay to win scenario......
